CODEGA AWARD WINNERS OF 2018

The year of consecration

After 6 years of building and supporting the delicate balance between design, light, creativity and art, the evening simply sealed a hoped, desired, sought but unexpected success.

About 56 lighting design projects from all over the world and 30 products destined to be the main protagonists of innovation and design in the coming years, have put in serious difficulty the international jury who wanted to assign 5 special mentions, so high was the level of international projects presented.

More than 60 lighting designers and experts from the world of architecture and design took part and gave life and depth to the awards ceremony held in the splendid Ca’Zen Venetian palace.

The 2018 edition saw the collaboration with the Venetian master Massimiliano Schiavon for the award: two glass masks, two unique pieces in the world, two real works of art made by one of the oldest and most prestigious glassworks in Murano; the gift of a glass artist to the artists of light.
